What better way to celebrate cold weather with cold ski resort photos? Yay!
Here’s the recent re:Porter magazine (Dec/Jan 2014/2015) issue. I was sent to the famous Quebec ski resort of Mont Tremblant.
Many don’t know it but there’s tons to do other than skiing at Tremblant. Check it out, especially when the weather is maybe a few degrees warmer!
Porter sent me to New Brunswick for their “Weekender” section. I’ve never experienced the Acadian French accent first hand so it was quite surprising at how different it was to Quebecois.
This weekender follows the Acadian coastal drive that runs along the eastern coast of New Brunswick.

Last fall I had the chance to shoot for a great series for Maclean’s Magazine. It’s finally out on news stands now and it’s called “Canada 2014: 10 Places You’ve Got to See”.
I was assigned Charlevoix, Quebec.
Here’s the video:
and images from that shoot:

It’s always nice to go back to an old neighbourhood where you once lived. It’s even better when you’re assigned to shoot a story about the neighbourhood. That’s what re:Porter Magazine had me do a few months back. Everyone in Montreal knows about Little Burgundy’s strip of cool. It’s a great strip that has really helped liven up this area of town in the last few years. Check out the spread and some out take shots that didn’t make it to print.
Timmins Ontario wouldn’t be my first choice of destination but I was pleasantly surprised by the very kind and inviting people there. This was a shoot I did for re:Porter last year. I got to pet some moose and see the Shania Twain Center! I didn’t actually go inside though. I guess there’s a reason why it’s now closed.
